An 18-year-old man suffered minor burns and caused $105,000 in damage to his home Friday morning after he used a propane torch to cut up a Christmas tree, San Diego Fire Department officials said.
The unidentified teen-ager, who lives on Danober Drive in the South Bay area of San Diego, received mild burns on the back of his neck, but was not taken to a hospital, fire officials said.
