Please, I need help!

Just when I thought I had it right; trendy, upscale, nouvelle , real, designer food, you hit me with serious food (“Remembering the Revolution,” by Ruth Reichl, Jan. 1).

I refuse to start a new year ignorant. I want to know just how serious my food is! Please give a 1-to-10 rating on dinner places, listing the seriousness of their menus.

There are many of us out here in La La Land waiting for your reply.
