Abortion Foes Defy Judge, Block Clinic

NEW YORK —
About 1,000 members of an anti-abortion group defied a federal judge’s order Friday and blocked the entrance to a Planned Parenthood clinic.
One hundred and seventy-six protesters were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, a police spokesman said. They were given tickets and released.
