Southland : Inmate Escapes From Hall of Justice

A minimum-security inmate today disappeared from the Hall of Justice in Los Angeles, where he was assigned to mop floors. Wagner T. Huber, 24, a member of the custodial work crew swabbing floors in the building, walked away at about 3:15 a.m., said sheriff’s Deputy Gabe Ramirez.
Huber, whose hometown was unknown, was arrested by West Hollywood station deputies on Nov. 3, 1988, and sentenced to one year in County Jail on a misdemeanor possession of fraudulent checks conviction.
