Law enforcement authorities sought a veteran state Department of Forestry employee charged with child molestation, pornography and possession of stolen property. An arrest warrant was issued for Richard E. Coon, a fire prevention officer and battalion chief with the forestry office in Mariposa. Mariposa County Sheriff’s Cmdr. Pelk Richards said the $100,000 warrant charged Coon with 20 counts of child molestation and pornography and one count of possession of stolen property.
