UC Irvine Seeks Second Win in Row Tonight

UC Irvine will be shooting for its first 2-game winning streak of the season when it plays host to University of the Pacific tonight at the Bren Center.
Irvine is 5-9 overall and 2-3 in the Big West Conference. The Tigers are 5-9 and 1-5.
The Anteaters shot just 40% from the floor Thursday night in beating Fresno State, 64-61, at Irvine.
UOP lost to UC Santa Barbara, 70-64, in overtime at Santa Barbara Thursday. But an overtime loss to the 13-1 Gauchos is a victory of sorts for the Tigers.
Rod Palmer, a junior transfer from UCLA, leads UC Irvine in scoring, averaging 18 points per game. Kevin Floyd is second, averaging 16.
