$35,000 Horse Killed in Highway Accident

STRATFORD, Conn. —
A $35,000 racehorse bound for a track in New Jersey was killed when his trailer jackknifed into a guardrail on Interstate 95, throwing him down an embankment.
Motoring Dean, a 7-year-old pacer, died about an hour after the accident despite rescue efforts by emergency medical technicians.
