5 Children Die, 2 Women Are Hurt in Maryland Fire

ANNAPOLIS, Md. —
Five children were killed Wednesday when fire roared through a housing project in the city’s Boston Heights area, authorities said. Two women who jumped from a second-story window to escape the blaze were reported in stable condition at a hospital. Investigators are seeking the cause of the fire.
