Teachers, Janitor Disarm 10-Year-Old With Shotgun

OLPE, Kan. — A 10-year-old boy brought a loaded shotgun into St. Joseph’s Catholic School on Wednesday, but two teachers and a janitor talked him into giving up the weapon and it was not fired, officials said. Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Sadowski said the incident apparently stemmed from a dispute between the boy and another pupil.
