Local News in Brief : Huntington Beach : Bolsa Chica Group Offers Wetlands Tour
Amigos de Bolsa Chica will be giving free tours of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach on Saturday.
Guides will provide information on the birds currently wintering or migrating through the state Fish and Game Ecological Reserve, located on Pacific Coast Highway, 1 1/2 miles south of Warner Avenue.
Recent sightings have included white pelicans, horned grebes, black skimmers, osprey, kites and a peregrine falcon.
Tours will be conducted every 20 minutes from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The last tour date for the winter season is March 4.
