The letter from Newport Travel Concepts, “All About Travel” (Jan. 22), attests that there are good travel agencies available. And the response that I received due to the Dec. 4 item in Jerry Hulse’s Travel Tips on my travel planning service, Journeys by Angie, indicates that people are looking for more focused travel planning.
Unlike most agencies, my business provides travelers not only with tailored itineraries and accommodations, but also with descriptions of local cuisine and restaurants, out-of-the-way sights and detailed maps on locating sights and hotels. Information that I find particularly rewarding is that about different cultures, people and historic events.
