A woman who was riding with Detroit Lions defensive lineman Reggie Rogers when he was involved in an accident that killed three teen-agers is suing him for $100,000.

Robin Ann Reece of Pontiac filed the suit Wednesday in Oakland County Circuit Court.

Reece’s suit alleges that Rogers was intoxicated and drove his vehicle through an intersection in the Oct. 20 accident in downtown Pontiac.

A person who answered the phone in the office of Rogers’ attorney, Elbert Hatchett, said Hatchett was in a meeting and unavailable for comment.

Prosecutors have said Rogers’ blood-alcohol level was 0.15% after the accident, above Michigan’s legal limit of 0.10.

Reece said she lost a finger and sustained other injuries.

Also named as a defendant in the suit was Big Art’s Paradise Lounge, where Rogers allegedly drank before the accident. There was no answer today at the bar.

Killed in the crash were Kenneth Willett, 19, of Waterford Township, and his cousins, Kelley Ess, 18, and Dale Ess, 17, of Versailles, Mo.
