N.J. Governor to Be Next Drew University President

MADISON, N. J. —
Gov. Thomas H. Kean, a former classroom teacher who has championed educational causes, was named Friday to become Drew University’s 10th president after he ends his second term on Jan. 16, 1990. State law bars Kean from seeking a third consecutive term as governor.
