Plane Attempting to Land Strikes Car; One Killed

HYANNIS, Mass. —
A single-engine airplane attempting to land at Barnstable Municipal Airport struck a car Saturday along a busy highway, killing a passenger in the vehicle, officials said. The pilot and two passengers in the Piper Cherokee were not injured. The driver of the car was treated at a hospital.
