From Times staff and wire service reports

A man described as the boyfriend of a nurse who was ambushed and fatally shot in the Hollywood Hills above Studio City, apparently after she was tricked into stopping her car to give medical aid, was arrested this morning on suspicion of murder, Los Angeles police said.

Giles Aubery, 53, was arrested shortly after 9 a.m. at his wife’s home in Southwest Los Angeles and was taken to the North Hollywood police station, officers said. Lucille Marie Warren, 40, of Inglewood, the divorced mother of two teen-agers, was shot at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 7400 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive. She had been employed as a night nurse at a nearby home in the exclusive hillside neighborhood.
