Six dance-oriented projects were among the COMBO award recipients recently announced. California Ballet’s “Romeo and Juliet,” slated for April, is a beneficiary, along with Malashock Dance Company (sponsored by Installation Inc.), PASACAT, the National City-based Philippine dance troupe, Sushi (for this year’s NEOFEST), and Three’s Company, which is headed to the Big Apple with COMBO’s help. A COMBO grant will assure the publication of the San Diego Area Dance Alliance’s newsletter through July of 1990.
