USD Men Defeat Florida St. in Tennis
The University of San Diego men’s tennis team defeated Florida State, 5-1, Thursday in the first round of the Corpus Christi College team championships in Texas.
David Stewart and Mark Farren led USD in singles. Stewart defeated Scott Shields, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 1 singles and Farren defeated Neil Krefsky, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5, at No. 2 singles.
USD is 9-1.
