Starlites Handed Rare Loss at Home
The San Jose Golddiggers defeated the Los Angeles Starlites, 15-7, 15-6, 2-15, 15-12 in a Major League Volleyball match Friday in front of 468 at UC Irvine’s Bren Center.
The defeat was only the third loss at home in three seasons for the Starlites (2-2).
The Starlites were led by middle blocker Linda Chisholm-Carillo, who had 18 kills.
