Local : Police Trying to Identify Slain Man

Police are trying to identify a man found beaten to death in the back of a van parked on a Panorama City street, authorities said.
The body of a white man 25 to 30 years old was found Wednesday in a 1977 gray Dodge Van parked in the 9000 block of Burnett Street. Police have not determined any motive for the killing, said LAPD Detective Jack Dillard.
