Odissi dance, the obscure classical dance form of Orissa, a state on the East Coast of India, is rarely seen on this side of the world. However, at 7 p.m. Saturday, the Center for World Music and Related Arts will present a full evening of authentic Odissi dance at the Black Mountain Middle School. The soloist is Nandita Behera, a veteran of the Khajuraho Festival in India and a long-time exponent of this exotic art form.
