Former relief pitcher Rollie Fingers, winner of the 1981 American League Cy Young Award, filed a petition in Bankruptcy Court seeking liquidation of his debts. Fingers, of Rancho Bernardo, Calif., claimed assets estimated at less than $50,000, and liabilities of more than $1 million and creditor claims totaling another $4.2 million.
