The injury to Jose Canseco’s left wrist is not as serious as first believed, tests revealed, although the Oakland A’s right fielder will miss three to five weeks.
Doctors in San Francisco determined that Canseco had a slight ligament tear on the outside of his left wrist. He will be in a cast from two to three weeks.
