Marxist Sues Wally George, Alleging Assault in Debate
Archconservative TV firebrand Wally George has been accused of assault stemming from an incident during a debate at USC with a self-styled Marxist.
According to criminal charges and a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by Norm Lubow, the Marxist guest, George--host of the KDOC-TV show “Hot Seat”--shoved and shook Lubow, then struck him on the side of his head after the two traded insults during the debate last week.
The incident, which quickly ended, was recorded on videotape and witnessed by an audience of more than 100 at the Los Angeles campus.
Lubow, a frequent guest on “Hot Seat,” advocates using drugs as a means for society to “wake up” and establish a utopian world.
