Community Psychiatric Centers, Laguna Hills, reported that net earnings for its first quarter ended Feb. 28 rose 22% to $20.5 million from $16.8 million for the comparable period a year ago. Revenue increased 26% to $102.6 million from $81.6 million. Community Psychiatric Centers owns and operates a chain of acute psychiatric hospitals. It also provides alcoholic treatment services, operates a chain of kidney dialysis centers and owns a home health-care services business.
