Two men were killed Wednesday morning when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a van at a Thousand Oaks intersection, authorities said.
Mitchell Fiedler, 24, of Thousand Oaks, and an unidentified passenger were thrown from the motorcycle and died when they were hit by the van driven by Tricia Farmer, 40, of Thousand Oaks, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Lt. Joel Oksner.
Farmer, who was not hurt, was turning left from Los Feliz Drive onto Quinta Vista Drive when she hit the motorcycle, which was traveling west on Los Feliz. No charges had been filed in the accident, Oksner said.
