Bob Staak resigned as Wake Forest basketball coach in the aftermath of a university investigation of an alleged NCAA recruiting violation.

Last week, it was disclosed that the NCAA had asked Wake Forest to conduct an investigation of possible recruiting violations concerning Anthony Tucker. Tucker is a transfer from Georgetown who was ineligible this season, when Wake Forest finished 13-15.
