Garden Grove Symphony has announced two recent corporate gifts. Mobil Oil Foundation gave the orchestra $2,500 to co-sponsor its April 29 concert led by music director Edward Peterson and featuring Korean pianist Kisun Yun as soloist. Hughes Investments and Garden Promenade Shopping Center also recently gave the orchestra $2,500 for general support.

Nancy Coop has been appointed public relations officer at the Laguna Art Museum, replacing Anne Naleid, who is moving to Paris. Coop, 40, was a 10-year employee of Orange Coast Business Forms in Tustin, where she held a variety of positions, including graphic designer, personnel administrator and sales manager. She lives in Dana Point.
