County Jobless Rate Holds at 3%
Orange County’s unemployment rate held steady at 3% in February, still among the state’s lowest, the state Employment Development Department reported Friday.
February’s figure reflects about 1,323,300 people employed and 41,500 people without jobs.
Only tiny Alpine County, with a labor force of about 950 workers, and Marin County had lower unemployment figures at 2.8% and 2.9% respectively.
