Downey’s Kind of Town Revives Joys of the Past
With all the murk these days in the world of sports, it was a pleasure to read the joy in Mike Downey’s (March 29) column on his memories of basketball in the Chicago area.
I have always thought Downey’s thoughts, wondering “who really cares about what I care about.” Keep on representing yourself Downey. As you know, coming from the town you come from, you contribute to the success that people in your hometown can only dream about. What a pleasure it was to feel your feelings.
