Local News in Brief : Coach Accused of Sex With Students
The swimming coach at Walnut High School was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of having sex with two minor students, officials said.
John B. Huntington, 23, came to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s station in Walnut at the request of investigators to discuss the allegations, then was arrested on felony charges of unlawful intercourse with minors, Deputy George Ducoulombier said.
Huntington was released on $5,000 bail pending arraignment.
Details about the two students, including their ages and sex, were not available.
Officials at Walnut High School, in the San Gabriel Valley community of the same name, were not available for comment.
