Jaime Brown, former UCLA basketball player, has joined the staff of the Women’s Training Room and Conditioning Center Inc. in Venice. Brown, 23, received her degree in kinesiology.

Holes in one were scored at the Rancho Park Golf Course nine-hole layout by Robert Keener of West Los Angeles and Dorothea Walsh of Santa Monica.

Gene McVey, a starter for 14 years at Los Angeles City golf courses, including two on the Westside, has retired. McVey last worked at the Rancho Park course, and before that he was at Penmar.
