Al Montes has joined Azeka De Almeida Planning, Costa Mesa, as vice president of planning. In his new position, he will oversee the land development consulting firm’s land-planning and community-design division activities throughout Southern California, Northern California and central Texas. Montes was with Planning Resources, a land-planning and development-feasibility consulting firm in Mission Viejo. Before that, he was senior project manager for Ahmanson Developments Inc., Covina.
