A San Jose teen-ager plans to plead innocent to murder charges in the deaths of two friends killed by a pipe bomb explosion, his attorney said. A San Jose Juvenile Court judge postponed a detention hearing until Monday because the 17-year-old suspect was still being treated for injuries suffered when the bomb exploded Thursday. Killed were the suspect’s nephew, Duyen Nguyen, 10, and Craig Andre, 18. Another nephew, Tan Nguyen, 13, was hospitalized with minor injuries. Police said Andre and the suspect were experimenting with pipe bombs in a house. Charges of possessing a destructive device and explosive materials also have been filed.
