Official Gets $573 in Parking Tickets
San Francisco County Supervisor Angela Alioto, who drives a Lamborghini, ran up $573 worth of parking tickets between last Nov. 15 and this Feb. 7, according to city and state records.
Alioto claims at least some of the tickets were incorrectly issued to her 15-year-old sports car. She says she was out of town on days some of the tickets were written and added, “Nobody drives my car but me.”
Alioto, daughter of former San Francisco Mayor Joseph Alioto, said she will challenge the state Department of Motor Vehicles, keeper of vehicle records.
