Hey, Figaro: Opera goers in Norway will be able to toot for the tenor and feast on burgers and fries when the Norwegian National Opera shows its production of “The Barber of Seville” at a drive-in movie. “We were inspired by American drive-in movies,” a spokesman said. “It started as a wild idea, but we’re going to try it.” The plan is to convert an open market into a drive-in for 200-300 cars and show a live broadcast of the opera on a giant TV screen. Local restaurants will serve food on trays that hang from car windows, and the waitresses will probably be on roller skates. The opera’s 200 regular performances a year are held in a cramped former movie theater and average about 90% capacity.
