The Orange County Children’s Theatre will continue its musical salute to American history with four performances of “Yankee Doodle” this weekend at Golden West College.

Written, directed and choreographed by Jerome Curtis of Long Beach, “Yankee Doodle” features 44 children who sing and dance their way through 20 skits depicting great moments and personalities from U.S. history.

With taped music and a slide-show narration, “Yankee Doodle” honors Uncle Sam, Andrew Jackson, Dolly Madison, Paul Revere, Martin Luther King Jr., the advent of the locomotive and the victories of World War II, among others.
