Man Crossing Street Hit, Killed by Pickup
A man was killed Thursday when he was hit by a pickup truck while crossing a street in Simi Valley, police said.
The 19-year-old Simi Valley resident, whom authorities did not identify pending notification of relatives, died at Simi Valley Adventist Hospital shortly after the 4:15 p.m. accident in the 1300 block of Los Angeles Avenue, Simi Valley Police Lt. Richard Thomas said.
The driver of the pickup was not charged, Thomas said.
