Dayett’s First Homer Wins for Ham Fighters
TOKYO —
Former major leaguer Brian Dayett hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning, giving the Nippon Ham Fighters a 5-2 Japanese baseball victory over the Seibu Lions Tuesday. The homer was Dayett’s first this season.
Mike Diaz, formerly of the Chicago White Sox, had a solo homer as the Lotte Orions downed the Orix Braves, 9-6. Diaz has four homers this year.
