A brush fire broke out Sunday afternoon in hilly terrain in the Twin Peaks area of Poway, according to firefighter Scott Kelly of the Poway Fire Department.

All units of the Poway Fire Department were called to the 5- to 6-acre area and were assisted by trucks from the San Diego Fire Department, Kelly said.

The fire broke out shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday and firefighters fought the blaze for about an hour and 20 minutes, he said. There were no injuries.
