Outfielder George Bell of the Toronto Blue Jays has been suspended for two games, American League President Bobby Brown announced.
Bell was suspended for leaving the batter’s box and fighting with Oakland pitcher Gene Nelson after he was hit by a pitch in Tuesday’s game. Bell is appealing the suspension.
