I take issue with the comment of Viacom’s president of domestic syndication, Joseph Zaleski, that the fact “I Love Lucy” is in black-and-white is a “problem.”
Programmers, take note! It’s a show’s content, not its color, that makes it great. Compare ‘I Love Lucy” to most of the current comedy shows.
No matter how much you crank up the color or brightness on your set, those other shows pale in comparison to Lucy’s.
