A one-day seminar on travel to Indonesia will be held June 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Indonesian Tourist Promotion Office, 3457 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 400, Los Angeles, at a cost of $15 per person, including lunch.

The seminar, presented by the tourist office in association with Select Tours International and the Indonesian Consulate, will cover the various regions and cultures of Indonesia, including Bali, Java, Sumatra, Irian Jaya, Kalimantan and Komodo Island. Weekend lecture tours from Salamanca, Spain, to Segovia, La Granja, Avila and La Alberca are part of the Los Angeles Community College District’s annual summer language program, which is divided into two sections: June 30 to July 30 and July 30-Aug. 30.

“Making the Most of Travel Photography” is the title of a one-day seminar to be presented June 10 by the Brooks Institute of Photography, 801 Alston Road, Santa Barbara. Among the subjects to be covered in the 9 a.m.-to-5 p.m. seminar are airport X-rays, new autofocus cameras and lenses, basic camera repair, photographing under adverse conditions and hints on equipment and film.
