A Danish doctor literally killed himself laughing at the comedy film “A Fish Called Wanda” in his local cinema, a medical magazine reported this week in Copenhagen. Ole Bentzen, 71, died of heart failure induced by mirth, the Doctor’s Weekly newspaper said. The report said the doctor’s laughter caused such an acceleration in contractions of the heart muscles that the organ failed to pump adequate supplies of blood to the brain.
