Meet at UC Irvine to Feature Top Track Athletes
Some of the top track and field athletes in the United States will compete in a track and field meet at UC Irvine at 3 p.m. Sunday.
The men’s competition will include Edwin Moses, Kevin Young and Danny Harris in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles, Roger Kingdom and Al Joyner in the 110-meter hurdles and Mike Powell in the long jump.
The women’s competition will feature Evelyn Ashford (100 meters), Alice Brown (100), Pam Marshall (100 and 200), Shiela Hudson (triple jump), Lacy Barnes (discus) and Bonnie Dasse (shotput).
