Strong Quake Jolts Alaska

PALMER, Alaska —
A strong earthquake rumbled through south-central Alaska Friday, tossing dishes from shelves and pictures off walls, a seismologist said. No injuries were reported from the quake, which registered 5.9 on the Richter scale.
