A leading stockholder in Hycor Biomedical Inc. has reduced its stake in the Garden Grove company, which makes diagnostic laboratory equipment and clinical testing products. A group led by D.H. Blair & Co., a New York brokerage firm, sold 146,100 shares of Hycor stock from May 1 to June 12 for $2.875 to $3.5625 per share, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The group now owns 6.8%, or 347,400 shares, of Hycor’s 5.1 million shares outstanding, down from a 9.6% ownership. Hycor stock traded Monday at $3.1875 per share in over-the-counter trading.
