Buena Park : Traffic Dispute Ends in Gunfire; Man Held

Buena Park police said a Moreno Valley man opened fire on a fellow motorist Saturday night after the two men got into an argument at a red light. No one was injured.
Troy L. Groomes, 20, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail after he allegedly fired three shots at a pickup truck driven by Curt Hickson, 22, of Cypress. One of the bullets struck Hickson’s vehicle, police said.
The incident occured at 10:20 p.m. near the corner of Crescent Avenue and San Marino Drive. Groomes was apprehended an hour later, police said.
