Remembering the Phenomenon Called Woodstock
Hochman’s article listed the Jeff Beck Group as a Woodstock performer. While it is true that the Beck band was slated to appear, it never made it to the festival.
Tensions between group members and the mercurial Beck caused the band to self-destruct before the date. No doubt the world is a poorer place for it!
