Hundreds of angry Greek fans set fire to race track stands and three betting offices after a longshot horse no one had bet on won a race at the Athens Race Track.
“We want our money back, the race was fixed,” said Andreas Stamoulis, a fan who lost about $3,000 in the $20,000 race won by Liti.
Police said that 15 people were arrested and that the track will be closed for two months.
