Fireworks Death Results in Manslaughter Charges

MT. SINAI, N.Y. —
A man was killed when a fireworks explosion sent pieces of a cinder block flying through the air, and the man who set off the blast was charged with manslaughter, police said. The fireworks were placed on the cinder block Tuesday night, and one piece hit John Connelly, 20, piercing his chest.
